As part of the Cubs Chef’s badge, 1st Taverham – Seeonee Cub pack planned a two-course menu of chicken & vegetable stir fry followed by cheesecake. After much peeling, slicing, dicing, stirring and tasting, the Cub’s families joined the meeting in time to see the Cub’s cooking skills in action and to enjoy tasting the dishes.
Many thanks to Tesco Drayton who generously provided all the ingredients for the evening’s menu, which were enjoyed by all. Also thanks to the parents who stayed and helped to supervise the Cubs with their cooking activity, and helped with the tidying up…
A great deal of work has been carried out maintaining the grounds at the HQ in Taverham. A big thanks to all those who have helped. Our fireworks night is about to be held as we write so will report back next month! We still need more adult support in the Group to enable us to provide activities for the children in Taverham and Thorpe Marriott. Please contact us to find out more.
