We have had fun in October with our meeting night falling on Halloween. We had a pumpkin hunt in the dark, a spooky space hopper relay and the doughnut limbo with all Beavers and Leaders having a go.
We invested another Beaver into our group.
This month we have also continued an act of kindness in memory of our Patron HM Queen Elizabeth II which included donations to the local food bank for the harvest festival.
1st Taverham Scout Group is pleased to announce that Daniel Fordham has been appointed as the Chairman of 1st Taverham Scout Group. He can be contacted at: chairman@1sttaverhamscouts.co.uk . James Wilson is currently acting as Group Scout Leader; we are looking to appoint to this post on a more permanent basis in the future.
However, some of our plans are compromised by a shortage of leaders which does limit the variety of opportunities that we are able to offer the children.
